Nestlé, the world’s largest food company, has selected Infocentric as strategic adviser for its new digital workplace initiative. Our team works closely with Nestlé’s own expert teams and business representatives to define a new, value-orientated, digital workplace for Nestlé worldwide.
Nestlé is at a pivot point with work on new technologies, strategies and processes impacting at once and we are delighted that Infocentric is helping us align these and enabling Nestlé to be at the forefront of the next generation of employee experience.
In a large organisation with many brands, technologies and cultures, creating a digital workplace that meets the needs of the entire organisation is a major challenge. The Nestlé team had made significant inroads into creating a powerful digital environment, but a complex combination of end-of-life of systems, new technologies and increasingly lean business processes, forced a review and provided an opportunity to optimise the Nestlé digital workplace and improve employee experience.
Infocentric’s experts are advising the Nestlé teams to define a new strategy, new governance and concepts for the new digital ecosystem. This will include the development of appropriate business cases and proof of concepts for the next iteration of Nestlé’s digital employee experience.
In the first phase of exploration, Infocentric’s team of experts worked with Nestlé business, HR and IT teams to determine scope and topics for further investigation. These topics included, technology, strategy, staff feedback and project approach.
The team identified opportunities, highlighted risks and worked together to prioritize areas of action which will result in a number of simultaneous activities including, but not limited to; strategy refinement and new governance frameworks, technical and business driven PoC’s (Proof of Concept), awareness initiatives and business case generation.
